Complete my first half marathon in 1:55:00 or less!
Starting today is two weeks of taper for me (but with a 3x1600m @ 5k pace run next Thursday, which is the one workout I hate the most at the end of a looong training cycle... :-( ) I have been going back and forth regarding my goal for Boston. I have a grand goal for 2013, but my coach doesn't think I'm there yet. So I think I'll do like LTH and just enjoy Boston as a celebration of running in general. I got in the Chicago marathon (received confirmation today!) and I think I'll make that my goal race for the year 2013. After Boston, I have one, possibly two, more marathon(s), so it will be a quick recovery and back to a lighter training schedule.

OK, I don't mean to hijack the goals thread, but is 3 weeks no good? Or is it still the right thing to do for some of us novices?
