Dang it Marjorie! I had just made a dailies thread :P
Rocky and I hit the muddy and wet trails this morning, we were going to only do 6 or 8 miles saving 8 or 10 for tomorrow but after 7 miles I said fuck it and we went for the 10. So Rocky and I will take it easy tomorrow with only 6.
I swear, mud and flooded trails slow you down like a fucking snail man but I need to take it easy anyways

Yesterday, I ran 4 recovery at 9:14, then 15 at 7:56 with mild inclines. Felt good. I did lots of shopping between the two runs and boy was it exhausting. Like the whole world had the day off and had decided to shop at Ikea, Costco and ToysRUs. Urgh... I'm invited to a brunch at some friends' today, so I may not run, depends on when I come back.
Have a nice day!

Morning! Husband woke me up because he couldn't find his social security card (which is at the passport office, the idiot, to change his passport name to the one last name). Sigh. He has not come back so I assume they let him in with the ID he has. He has his Board renewal exam.
So, it's raining and thundering like crazy and has been for hours. We are flooded but hopefully, I'll be able to run 12 with hubby or 9 solo tonight.

I see there is a price to pay for all that speed. Maybe I'll stay slow.

Uffda
Morning!
Damaris - Good luck with the flooding. Wind was howling through here all night, but I don't see any trees down in my yard which is always a plus.
Rick - Have fun with your new pace!
I did a 16 mile LSR yesterday. I had pain come back yesterday in my right foot after the run. I'll just have to baby it. I only have about 2 longer workouts left. I have only a 3 mile run on tap today, but I might make it an URD just to play it safe.

Running burns calories, speed work incinerates them! So in addition to speed, there is added incentive.
Okay peeps, it is currently 38 degrees out and I am dressed like a cheap trick...
See ya!
Hi dailies:

Holy crap, congrats on the great time (and 2nd OA!).
From the Internet.
Morning! 3.75 easy miles, felt great and all my achy bits cooperated. As long as my shin doesn't feel sore later today or tomorrow I should be back to normal running next week!
Nice job!

'Morning, runners! I hit the rail trail early this morning. 20.5 miles at 8:23 pace. Effin' A. I really held it together well too. Very happy with this run. I can't wait until my marathon. (five more weeks.) Ain't gonna lie...I'm tired.
