Not too much doing in Jersey. About 6" inches from what I can tell by looking outside.
Shamus likes the snow.
Do you even run?
I do love snow, we have maybe had an inch so far this year in central Illinois. I always enjoyed playing in the snow with my kids!
what kind of dog is shamus?

Wow...that's some serious snow. I love a good snow storm, but when I heard about the number of people without power...that's not good.

A picture may be worth a thousand words, but I only need two. No thanks!
DJJAN, that's a crazy amount of snow.
Y'all stay safe up there.
Running for TJ because he can't.
Hope everyone is staying warm and safe. The worst snowstorm I've ever been witness to was the storm of 12/18/2002 in South Lake Tahoe. I know the date because it was opening night for "The Two Towers". That storm dumped something like 8 to 10 feet of snow in one day. Even for an area that is prepared for snow, this was so much that the blades were overwhelmed. They could only "carve" single lanes on Hwy 50 through town. All the passes were closed. We lived 5 miles from the theater and I drove there to buy tickets for the midnight opening. That 10 mile round trip took me 2.5 hours. That night we drove to the theater to watch the movie only to be told that the film didn't arrive because they couldn't get over the pass (Spooner Summit).
Driving through town was like driving in a channel as the snow banks were so high.
Hubby bought his snow blower last year and we got nothing. This was his first time getting to use it. He was happy. He even let me use it for a bit.
The kids loved it.
The kids wanted to clean off the cars.
Very nice pics of the kids Kay. Looks like they're definitely enjoying themselves, yes?
They were, yes. Until the snow soaked through their gloves. Then they couldn't wait to come inside, LOL!
Cute kids. Glad they are helping with the cleanup.

As part of the 2024 London Marathon, I am fundraising for VICTA, a charity that helps blind and visually impaired children. My mentor while in law school, Jim K (a blind attorney), has been a huge inspiration and an example of courage and perseverance. Please consider donating.
