I am bored, figured I'd beat somebody to it. Post your April goals, check off the ones you did and then post your May goals. I'll go first.
April Goals
May Goals
I think that is it for me......
*Do It For Yourself, Do It Because They Said It Was Impossible, Do It Because They Said You Were Incapable*
PRs
5k - 24:15 (7:49 min/mile pace)
10k - 51:47 (8:16 min/mile pace)
15k -1:18:09 (8:24 min/mile pace)
13.1 - 1:53:12 (8:39 min/mile pace)
26:2 - 4:14:55 (9:44 min/mile)
April Goals:
Run 100 miles - well, I'm at 97.8, so I think i'll get there.
No injury - I'm not sure about this one. My knees have been sore for a couple of days, so I may need to take it easy for a bit.
Race something new - I ended up doing two races: 5m and 15k. Both were new distances. Both were good experiences.
May Goals:
Again, stay healthy.
Run at least 100 miles.
Increase long run to 12 miles.
I may do a 5k this month, since it's been a long time since I ran one.

My April goal was to continue to rehab my knee without having any setbacks. Success!
For May, I get to start running again! HOORAY! 'Bout time. My goal again will be to not have any setbacks. I don't have a mileage goal. I'll take whatever I can get. It won't be a lot of miles (40 maybe?).

I PR'd in my 10k on April 6. My HM is on Sunday but good friends give reassurance that my goal (2:05) shouldn't be out of reach if the stars align.
I'm not injured. Yay!
I didn't do a lick of yoga. Yeah, I suck.
May goals:
Keep on keepin' on with staying healthy
Cut out more of the junk. My sweet tooth is killing me.
DO YOGA LOL
Start marathon training on May 13

+1
My April goal was a 3:45 marathon - I ran 3:42.
My goal for May is to recover and resume running without injuring myself.
Here's the original thread.
1. PR in 10k - check! 2. sub 38:40 10k - in progress

3. Low 180s
4. PR @ DSS HM
5. Sub-20 5k @ IMS 5k
1. Yup!
2. Should hit 200 by the end of the month
3. Nope, going through a lil recomp again, I'm definitely losing fat, but not weight, so I'm not gonna complain, it's more about bodyfat now than what the scale says anyway.
4. Nope, blew my PR by not tapering properly, but I did get a kickass trophy for 3rd place in my AG, and still went sub-1:30, so I'm happy
5. Not yet, it's this Saturday. Sub-20 or bust!
2. Whatever mileage the Pfitz 18/70 plan has me covering, which I'm sure will be over 200
3. PR at the ERR 10k, hopefully sub-40
4. Get back on track with my pullups and pushups, I won't put a number on it, let's just say, do 'em every day.
5. Now I feel this need to have 5 goals, but I can't think of another one...wife wants to start P90X, so let's go with that.
Hmmm, P90X and Pfitz 18/70...this could get ugly. lol

It's in the bag. Sub-18:30.
FS, I'm sure you'll reach your May goals, no problem!
April goals were achieved (survived taper, ran Boston well)
Between now and June 10th, I have one HM, one marathon and some recovery time before I start my 18 weeks of official training for Chicago. No real goals in May, just two fun races.
PRs: Boston Marathon, 3:27, April 15th 2013
Cornwall Half-Marathon, 1:35, April 27th 2013
18 marathons, 18 BQs since 2010
I don't know if I put down any goals for April, but here's what I did:
Got a PR in a HM by about 2 minutes (though the course was mostly downhill and at about 1000 feet lower in elevation than I'm used to).
Got sick and missed a few days of running, including what was supposed to be my last really long run before my next race.
Got really annoyed with the lingering winter. I don't mind snow. I don't mind cold. But put them together with nasty winds, and I'm a sad panda.
Still managed to get in 140 miles (so far, with another ~30 on tap before the 30th).
My goals for May:
Question my sensibility for committing to do the Flying Pig 4-way less than 1 year after being able to run for 30 minutes straight.
Not get sick
Say goodbye to winter
Get out on the bike again
Start getting myself ready for running a HM at ~8500 feet in elevation.
Awesome goals everyone.
Baboon that is awesome to hear that you'll get back to running next month.
Thanks happylily, I am looking forward to May
Now that would be something. Altho, I should probably admit that my real goal now is in fact a sub-19 (which I did admit in the sub-19 thread lol). But I'm not sure if I can go that deep, or even go sub-19, but we'll see. Gonna shoot for 6 flat and see if I can hold on, if I've got more than that, I'll put it out there. If I blow up, I figure I should still be able to squeak out a sub-20.
