      Damaris, I didn't know I'd run two marathons in the 45 days prior to the Cancun race. I will have to forget about it and I may, or may not, do the half instead. It will depend on the weather (I don't feel like slugging through 90F like I did in Jamaica last year) and on whether registration is still available the day before the race, when I will arrive. You might as well take my name completely off of the list. I apologize for all the work! Thank you!

                            Hmm, something seems to be missing from this post. 

                              My goal was 8:00.  Disappointed but not surprised by the time.  That's why I have December and January to return to my previous running shape  till my next race.

                                That it came after the season plays a part in it too.
