Very busy with work means not much time for fun here. Thank God I love my job! A few recovery miles later tonight.

    Go figure

Hey everyone.  10.17 miles for me, just at easy pace.  I'm so thankful to be running outside again.  Even though my cough isn't gone, I'm getting through my runs without much trouble as far as chest pain, so I'll take it!

I may run again later, just because I want to.  If I do it will only be short.  Enjoy your days guys and gals.

Oh boy its Monday. Hope everyone gets a good start to the week.

Phil, good luck with the knee.

JJs that looks sick. Would be fun to try.

Grats on the Dr report Tom.

        LBR waz up

Heidi, I put the finish photo as Avatar.

Gonna try and get 6-8 in today, steamy 33° here.

        YAYpril - B-Plus

Phil, yay! I hope the appointment goes well.

Basya, how exciting. I love booking flights. It means the trip is REAL.

SIAR, nice run. Glad to see you back in these parts.

I went to the gym at lunch since I won't go to yoga tonight. 20 minutes on the arc trainer and Myrtl again. Feeling good.

Basya, I've heard it's amazing there. I hope you enjoy it!

Kay...Good luck with the foot taping.  Are you trying kinesio, or just doing a standard tape?  I've never been very good at taping myself.  Those arm warmers you posted about in the general thread are crazy expensivo!  Sorry the run on the mill didn't work out.

Baboon...Glad you were able to get yourself an appointment.  It's funny how when you complain enough they can always manage to "find" something.  I hope you get some good results.

LRB...Cedar Point - fun spot!  I went back this year for the first time in like 10 years and had a blast.  I'm pretty sure the wooden coasters gave me a concussion though.  Fit Rhino with strong hips and groin sounds like a dangerous combo....just sayin'.

JJ...gorgeous run.  That's kinda too bad that the publishing made it so popular though.

RunTom...Those seem like some great numbers you pulled off.  Well done.

              BPlus...Have a nice post-work run.

Code...Good luck managing everything with your wife's new schedule.  I hope the 6 and hill sprints go well for ya.

Lily...Definitely a nice feeling to like what you're doing!  Enjoy the recovery run.

Ghetto...steamy 33 sounds pretty good.  We're on a little up-tick into the 40s here, which I'm pretty sure if going to feel like heaven.

April...Thanks.  Glad to see that the gym trip and Myrtl left you feeling good.

              RMT3B...enjoy the recovery run.

Veg Ang...Have fun getting back to the kickboxing.  I hope those drippy noses don't get you sick too!

Robert...Great run and a nap?  Can't beat that.

Basya...Very cool on getting your flight booked...I'd be starting the countdown too.

Just regular tape for now.  They didn't have K-tape at the store I went to.

The armwarmers are super expensive.  They have LED lights going through them, which I guess is why.  That's why when I saw that they were going to be half price, I decided to get a pair.  I would never drop that kind of money for them.

                Do you even run?

                Docket_Rocket

Kay PS, sorry about the foot.

                  Good luck!

My PCP can see me at 3:00 today.  COOL.  At least he can order x-rays, MRI's, and get me some good meds.

Basya- Are you running a marathon in Israel? That's pretty cool!

Played hooky from work today. Not sick just tired....got home really really late last night from my boyfriend's in MD, and have a lot of sick days accrued so decided to just take the day off. And I joined a new gym. If I have a way to do cardio, I may be less cranky. Besides even though I hate the TM, it will be nice to at least have a TM option when I start running again for really bad weather days.

Is the day over yet?  No?  I still have mega hearing at 3pm.  I am glad it's an SRD because I am not sure I'll even make it home in time to run if it wasn't.

Basya: wow, how exciting! Can't wait for the report already.

SIAR: Thanks! The funny part about tonight is, I'll drop my oldest off at dance class, which is next door to my gym. But I'm not gonna run on the treadmill, I'll run outside from there and return just in time to pick her up and take her home. Maybe I'll wave at all the treadmillers from the window hehe.

RMTB: I miss your updates on DM, but it sounds like you are back to killing it. So glad it's coming back together.

Basya - What a fantastic trip to take!
Babboon - Yay for getting in to your doc!

I ran, though maybe I shouldn't have. 4.7 miles or so with lots of nose blowing and some coughing, followed by lots of coughing when I stopped. And now a headache and "face ache" that ibuprofen isn't touching. Sad

20,000 miles behind me, the world still to see.

                              Well that went great.

So I go to work with the senior therapist today, the one who did my eval a month ago and called me guitar strings because my legs were so tight.  Well, we're talking about  myrtle exercises while I am stretching and I made an off hand comment that I can do 20 reps per leg of each exercise.  She seemed stunned and asked me to do them, so I did.  And when I was done, she flippn' discharged me.  Proclaiming that I obviously have no need for them anymore.  Hmph!

Isn't that a good thing? You don't want them to keep collecting that copay when you don't need to go anymore, right?
