Wouldn't you fly off the stupid thing after the first drop?

I have done those (albeit smaller) and end up with such a wedgie that I regret it immediately thereafter.

As part of the 2024 London Marathon, I am fundraising for VICTA, a charity that helps blind and visually impaired children. My mentor while in law school, Jim K (a blind attorney), has been a huge inspiration and an example of courage and perseverance. Please consider donating.

With all the problems in the world that need solving, some moron had to think of that? And I bet more morons will want to try it, one will kill himself and all the morons will want to sue the moron who thought of it.

I don't get to use the word "moron" often. It's actually a fun word.

I hate heights.......... man-made heights so hell no.

How can this be safe again?  This is insane. I'd like to know who is signing off on this thing being safe. Crazy and I'm so terrified of heights just the climb up would have me pissing my pants.

                Running is my mental-Ctrl-Alt-Del.

I also have an issue with heights.  Just the photo LRB posted is giving me heart palpitations!

I don't understand how you don't go flying off the side lol

Taller than Niagara Falls?  The Falls are not massively tall.  It's the volume of water that makes them spectacular (and even that is diminished for hydroelectric purposes... they must have been truly amazing at 100% flow.)

I would not go on that, no sense in possible injury for something so frivolous.

I'd do it if there was an elevator.  I can't imagine climbing 17 flights.

                        Short term goal: 17:59 5K

                        Mid term goal:  2:54:59 marathon

Long term goal: To say I've been a runner half my life.  (I started running at age 45).

I've done the Summit Plummet at Blizzard Beach in Disney World. It is a 12 story, near vertical drop. What's another 5 stories?

                          I'm in.

note: This is not me. Just a photo from the internet.

I was thinking yes but then again I won't jump off the top rail of the bridge in Jaws (Martha's Vineyard, MA) which might be 3 stories. I have never turned down a roller coaster though but I'm belted in.

I would not do it in a boat.

I would not do it with a goat.

Folks from the city, they know why:

'Cause like the rent - it's too damn high.

                                Stupid feet!
