IT band strap causing chafing and bruising...help! (Read 73 times)

    Oh, I see. The design is different from the patellar tendon one like I have. It looks like it comes in 2 sizes, could you exchange for the larger one if you don't already have it? Or otherwise, I guess cover or remove the square, as others suggested, though a correct size would be better, since it seems it would stay on better. With the one I have you pull it through a plastic loop, then backward, to attach, so the velcro is never against the skin. But now I do see what you're saying, and it does look like that would be painful!

      Someone over at RWOL recommended a different brand. It is only $10 (mine was $17) so I am going to try it! Thanks for your tips whoever attempted to help me with my issue
