He's such a character, every time I would hold the camera up to take a pic of the route, he'd smile thinking I was taking one of him so I would just have to go ahead and take one of him. He melts me <3 <3 <3
Chloey - wouldn't surprise me if Evansville copied off some other city lol. Newburgh (Warrick County) has their own river front, but I haven't made it up there too much this winter and the times I have were mostly in the dark. I do really enjoy the USI recreational trail (my first pics) but I like Evansville's greenway the most because it is almost 7 miles long and finally connect so you don't have to cut through neighborhoods or streets.... unless it's flooded underneath the bridges. Newburgh's trail is probably the same as the USI trail, about 3 miles long and with a really big hill, and it's right up against the road which makes me uneasy taking Dorian there.
I wanna run there!

If you haven't noticed yet, I really like taking pics of the winding part of the trails/roads , they are so much more interesting than a straight one.
You and me both. This is so reminiscent of my 10K along Miner's Ravine in Roseville. I need to go back there, run it and take pics. A beautiful run along a stream.
We don't get much of this scenery in the corn and bean fields of central Illinois.

I wanna run there! I love, love, love running in the city parks... The jogging trail I do most of my weekly runs on has a great view of the Statue of Liberty and Manhattan skyline going in one direction and the Verazanno Bridge in then other... But it would be cool to run in a woods somewhere like that!

Much nicer view than the one I see right now out my office window. I want to go running! Stupid work!
Lol, I guess Evansville isn't all that sucky
