Congrats on your progress!  Giving those clothes away is a huge milestone for you mentally.  You are looking great Smile

    Ball of Fury

Congratulations to you!!  I remember very vividly the day I got to get rid of my "goal/skinny" jeans because when I tried them on, they were literally falling off!  I think I actually cried tears!

What a great milestone! It's so funny how we tend to keep our skinny clothes as motivation and our fat clothes "just in case". The day I gave up the fat clothes was a bigger moment for me than being able to fit into those skinny clothes because it not only meant I'm getting smaller, but that I've committed to never going back.

So proud of you and cheering you on!!

Ugh, my mom said exactly that when I tossed my "big" clothes.  ("You should put them in storage, just in case."  Thanks for the support, Ma.)   I filled a bunch of garbage bags and gave them to goodwill.    Done deal, not going back!

        Awood - rock on, man!

keep up the good work man.

I have to say my own weight loss, which is not nearly as dramatic as yours (244 - currently 208, got more work to do) has been helped a lot by posts like this. Just stories of regular people having success are very motivating.

I have more weight to lose and I am sloooooooow when i run. But I'm lighter and have better fitness than i have in at least 10 years. So rock on man, I'm on the same path. Keep us updated

                  Team TJ

Great post.  I can definitely relate to your story as we started at nearly the same weight.  Your loss is a motivator for me, I don't always stick to my diet as I should and your accomplishment proves it can be done.  As a matter of fact, I'm off work today and will be clearing my closet of "just in case" clothes and they will be donated to Goodwill Tuesday morning.  Thanks for taking the time to write your story of success.
