novarunner, I didn't even know there was a half in Reston! I always wondered if your name came from NoVa. I will have to check that half out, I grew up around there and still have family in that area.

They'll tell you that failure is not an option. That's ridiculous. Failure is always an option. It is the easiest and most readily available option. It's your choice though.

2/24/2013: Hyannis Half Marathon (first) Hyannis (Cape Cod), MA
First attempt at any race over 7 miles. Running with my sister. Hoping to kick ass and carry that momentum into several other races throughout the year (and the possibility of another half).
