I got you beat right now:
"You are 85.4 mi behind the pace bunny."
Do you even run?
My March goal is to PR in my 10k on March 16. I am also focused on maintaining 35-40 mpw in preparation for my half marathon in May.
PRs:
5k: 25:05 (Sep 2011) 10k: 51:57 (Aug 2012) half: 1:56:46 (May 2013) full: 4:09:46 (Jan 2016)
Kay - that pace bunny don't take into account for RDs I think. They avg what you need to run every day hence the +/- difference.

Stay healthy and injury free, the rest will come if I put in the work.
Thinking maybe trying for 400 miles in March, like 250 biking, 140 running and 10 swimming. It would be my highest month ever. I should go over 330 today for February my most since training for my Olympic triathlon in July. February was my first 300+ month since August, I did 300+ in May, June, July and August while training. I'll have to think about my training, doing a fun Saint Patrick's Day half on the 16th (just going to treat it like a long run) and pacing the 2:10 group for a half on the 23rd. Maybe I'll combine some medium rides on those days too, I am thinking of biking the half ironman course next Saturday to get a feel for the hills (rode portions of it not the whole thing), I am running the half marathon course for the ironman this Saturday. Most of my goals right now are just be prepared for the ironman May 4th. I would like 400+ though that would be a nice month.
Proud Calgarian
Paula, are you in the Calgary Half this May as well? Your two goals (PR the 10k in March, kick butt in the HM in May) sound pretty parallel to mine!
2015 Goals and PRs:
5k - 17:59 (18:05); 10k - 35:59 (36:42); HM - 1:19:19 (1:19:59); FM - 2:49:59 (3:05:46)
Yes, I am. This will be my 4th time!! And don't forget, we are both running fall goal marathons in New England... Similar goals - great minds think alike?
That, and I didn't run for much of January due to a foot issue.
Wickedly Average
Well, March starts my racing season (if you want to call what I do "racing"). I have a 15K on March 9, and I will likely be running a 5K on 3/16.
Otherwise, I'm looking at about 100 miles this month, with a couple of long runs towards the end of the month, 2-3 big hill training runs, and about 1 interval run a week. Sort of "standard" stuff. My next big race is April 20, another 15K. I want to keep my training aimed at the 15K to HM range of race.

Scott - MCM registration that late? Thought it was sooner than that. Great race! I ran it for my first. marines do a great job with it.
Yep, MCM registration opens at 12 noon eastern time on March 27th. I'll be at my desk at 11:59 poised and ready to go. It sold out in about 4 hours last year.
"It doesn’t matter how often you do it or how much you accomplish, in general, not running is a lot easier than running." - Meb Keflezighi
- Keep mileage up and avoid burning myself out (I'm really getting too old for that stuff...)
- run a good time trial next week, hopefully a PR in training. This will help me decide on my marathon pace.
- and uh... that's it, I guess?
- 334 miles for the month. Feeling ok, but somewhat worn out.
- I ran a couple 10ks in 43:33 and 43:43, right at the end of high mileage weeks, without taper. These are pretty much in line with the 1:12:02 10 miles I ran previously. It shows improvement for me, so that's good.
Overall, I'm satisfied.
PRs: Boston Marathon, 3:27, April 15th 2013
Cornwall Half-Marathon, 1:35, April 27th 2013
18 marathons, 18 BQs since 2010
-Stick with my training plan and stay healthy and running happy
-Not get intimidated by the long runs that are nearly double what was a PB long run for just 2 months ago.
-Try not to buy any more new shoes.
