          I'll meet you half way.  There's a 10 miler at Furman on the 14th of Feb.  That should be mostly flat since it's in SC instead of NC.

          No more marathons

            Thanks all for the read and the good words.

            This race was an eye opener on the benefits of marathon training for the shorter races.  I trained and raced 4 marathons from Quebec City in August of 2012 through Boston in 2014.  In 2014 I set phat old man PR's in the 10K, 5K, mile and 1500.  Injuries starting after that mile PR reduced my weekly miles by about half, and the results were the extra 3 minutes on a 10K time.

             

            Shows me that to get back to the short distance times I was getting in early 2014 it's going to take getting back to 40 miles per week.
