Ball of Fury
Thank you BeachRunner! I used to read other RR and think, "How the hell do they remember all that?" In this race, I tried to "associate" instead of dissociate ala the Competitive Runner's Handbook! It actually helped me in the race, as well as with the RR.
PRs: 5K 22:59, 10K 46:54,HM: 1:51:15
A 1:48 improvement in a 10K since November is a fairly substantial improvement. Congratulations. And yes, you will run a better race if you associate.
Short term goal: 17:59 5K
Mid term goal: 2:54:59 marathon
Long term goal: To say I've been a runner half my life. (I started running at age 45).
