Evening, Dailies!

I had every intention of running early today, but I slept a little later than usual. Then it was raining. I figured the rain would pass quickly, but it didn't. Eventually, I made it out for 3.5 miles, easy pace. Encountered 2 trucks drag-racing on my running route. Gave them an evil stare as I prepared for an emergency dart into the woods if necessary.

Why someone would race in a pickup truck on damp roads is beyond me - traction is pretty well limited, which leads to slow times and the potential to fishtail off the road where one might find a poor hapless runner or jogger.

Anyway, no incidents - they cruised on by me and I kept my pace.
