Hi dailies:
Basya - 19.86 with no OCD to make it 20.
DaveP - hah, a strong and/or hoppy beer I will savor...those Trainwrecks are just thirst-quenchers.
Completed the workout that I failed at last week - 1.5hr easy, 1hr at MP. I dialed the paces back to 3:00 territory from PR Land and was comfortable, so that's a bit of confidence at least.
12 miles done. It wasn't a true hill workout, but I did set the TM to the preprogrammed "rolling hills" workout, going up to 2.5%. No peeps from the knee, just some tightness in the other hip.
While that workout hadn't seemed overly tough, when followed up by an hour-long martial arts class focused largely on legs/kicking, my hips are feeling it tonight.
20,000 miles behind me, the world still to see.
Jay, nice. I hope that, someday, I'll be able to run your distances with the ease and frequency that you do.
Shari, you chased a twelve-miler with a martial arts class? You are tougher than I'll ever be.
Upper-body exercises, ab work, and push-ups are done.
