Mmmmm...beer
Whatcha got? Mine are the same as May: - Continue base building, 50+mpw - Continue losing weight No real race goals, only have one race this month, a cross country 5k, I ran it last year in 20:06, so I'd like to go sub-20 and win my age group again.

Yes to all of the above. Even with a week off due to a sprained ankle, base building is going great, 60+mpw every week except that week off. Weight is back down to my all time low of 183. Ran 19:31 at the OK5K and won my AG again.
Great month, even with the injury.

1 and only: finish out my inaugural half training in style. Race is right over the hump into July.

Are we there, yet?
No races currently planned for June, so 1) avoid any heat problems 2) get out on trails more 3) run 180-200 miles

1) avoid any heat problems
2) get out on trails more
3) run 180-200 miles
1) No heat related issues, but it did affect pace and distance on occasion
2) got out on trails more, but mostly well-groomed trails, not single track
3) fell far short on this (157.7 miles) with a late month ankle pain being the primary culprit cutting my last long run of the month by more than half followed by 2 unscheduled off days to end the month.

1. Yep. the speedwork is kicking my butt, everything else is going well.
2. Yep. I have a gym membership, a couple of outdoor running routes, and a consistent routine of running after breakfast. I missed one day for the plane flight, and was a couple of miles short the following day, but other than that it's been solid.
