    I think for myself, I run to escape some of the things I do not like to do in my life. Laundry? I have to run 10 miles... Prepare income tax? That's too bad, today happens to be LR day, oh well... I make excuses for a lot of things I seek to avoid. I think we all try to avoid a few things in life. At least, I do. But maybe not you, perfect people.

            I've just gotten back into running, since I was a kid, but quickly find I'm a fair weather runner (as a matter of preferences). But even if it is crappy out, I can still go out and walk briskly. Or at least do calisthenics indoors, if dangerous outside.
