I get that diet sodas may not be the best thing for me to consume. Then again, I used to smoke 2+ packs of cigarettes a day. (The most I ever recall smoking in one day as 4 1/2 packs). As bad habits go then, Diet Pepsi ain't the worst I've had.
Short term goal: 17:59 5K
Mid term goal: 2:54:59 marathon
Long term goal: To say I've been a runner half my life. (I started running at age 45).
I try to limit my diet soda to 1 per day but I suppose adding Nuun which is artificially sweetened isn't a good idea.
Diet soda (drink both DC and DP) is where I get my caffeine from. I won't drink it before a long run or too close to a race. I don't trust anyone who doesn't have a vice.
