I have been living in Spanish for a month now, you know. My host mom just made me a guanábana smoothie with dinner, right after telling me I was going to get fat from eating down here. The last time she did that, she put a scale in my room. Good thing I am running plenty of miles!
She is probably saying: "poor gringa" when you are not listening.
