My goal for December is simply to maintain mileage.  Still trying to establish a harmonious relationship between my running and the three jobs I now have.  So far it's working out okay.....if I could just keep from getting sick again. Smile

Get stronger by walking, biking, swimming, strength training, and doing yoga. All in preparation to start running again. I have hope.

What's up, CRL, are you injured?

              Just B.S.

Nothing big.......been chilling and running for fun, when how far, how fast I want since my last full (Sept 30th) and half (Oct 21st) both of which were PR's. So I"ve just been enjoying running for fun after 6 months on a training schedule and 12 races during that time.

Training for marathon #6 starts the week of Christmas which is also the week I turn 51.

So my main goal is to stick with my schedule thru the inevitable Christmas/Birthday/New Year rush/celebrations/late nights/food overload.

A few 50 mile weeks to cap off base building as I enter into a HM training plan yet to be determined.

                    1) Stay injury free

                    2) Run every day (holiday streak)

                    3) Run 60 miles

                    4) Enjoy family and friends this during the holidays

I want to stay injury free and train for my 10 mile trail race in Jan.

I have this thought of 2013 being my "coming out" year for running.

                      I'm such a dork.

Nah, I feel the same way.  Gonna do a lot more racing, joining the local running club and already have a rival in my age group LOL

                                1. Stick to training for first half marathon in February

                                2. Lose 5 more lbs (or at least not gain any)

                                3. Run 100+ miles for the month (first time)

                                4. Get back into the habit of running before work (which seems impossible in this frickin' cold--and it's only gonna get worse.)

                                5. New sneaks.

                                6. Actually use the jogging stroller.

                                7. Plan out next year's race and training schedule.

                                8. Drink more. Beer, not water.

                                Oy. So much, so much.
