Hip Redux

    LRB, only one?

    I had a beer...and a steak.

Wha?  A steak?  Is this a new thing, eating meat?

    B-Plus

      5 miles 51:00 - 10:12 avg. pace - recovery. Took a step backward today.

Hopefully it's just one of those days, and not related to your other issues.

      10 @ 8:13 w/ 8 x 10 sec strides.

Rick, only one, tough times. Thank you for starting today's thread.

Tom, I'm glad that that dental work is done.

Damaris, I hope that your eight were great.

Tonight, I did 6.40 miles in an hour on the TM. I also did push-ups and ab work.

I'm recovering from a bruised tailbone. No jokes about busting my @$$, please. Laughing hurts. Sitting hurts. Oddly, running doesn't.

          Hi dailies:

Tom - dentist Sad.  Hope you got to keep that silver.

          Moth - good week

Rick - what's the big run?  Ep - ick - errr.

Oski - huh, you'd think people would want to make money.

Scotty - haha, that first one could easily apply to cats as well.  "Good job cleaning that litter box human, now I'll use it immediately!"

Baboon - "I deal with the god damn customers so the engineers don't have to. I have people skills; I am good at dealing with people. Can't you understand that? What the hell is wrong with you people?"

Step - ugh, that is hot

lilac - hope the bike ride went well

Burrrn - cool story (not sarcastic.  really.)

          Zelanie - another year

B+ - Good morning to you too

Free - probably bedtime again by now

          Marjorie - miles!

Kristin - have some Key Lime pie for me

          D - stupid computers

Meaghan - 5am is a good time... to sleep

jjs - good luck getting it dealt with

Basya - oh, did you go to one of Beachrunner's basement dance parties? Wink

3.9 recovery miles after today's heavy rain tapered off.  Got about a half cord of wood split and stacked, lots more to go while being outside is still enjoyable.

As part of the 2024 London Marathon, I am fundraising for VICTA, a charity that helps blind and visually impaired children. My mentor while in law school, Jim K (a blind attorney), has been a huge inspiration and an example of courage and perseverance. Please consider donating.

Basya- Clearly the solution there is to just keep running.

Got my 6 done.  It was the best part of my day.
