Actually I think the best swimmers have the advantage!

Interesting.  I watched an event once where the first swimmer out of the water (by something crazy like 2 or 3 minutes) placed third overall after being caught during the run.  I guess that was the exception though and not the rule.

Oddly enough, seeing that is what made me want to work on my running otherwise I may have never ended up here.
