Have you ever seen There's Something About Mary?
The HM is my favorite distance to race. It doesn't suck from the start like a 5K, it doesn't leave you hating yourself like a 10K, and the pain doesn't go on and on and on coupled with a ridiculously long recovery period like a marathon.
Short term goal: 17:59 5K
Mid term goal: 2:54:59 marathon
Long term goal: To say I've been a runner half my life. (I started running at age 45).
