Happy Birthday Lilac!!!
1,500 done in the pool, non-stop in 40 minutes. I'm getting faster!! That's just short of a mile folks.
I am starting to think my goal of a 1/2 Iron for next summer is totally doable
A nice easy 4 miles later today.
I haven't had a non exercise day in 7 days and since I am 4 days out from a marathon I am taking
tomorrow off. NO swimming, NO running, No cycling. I am I am I am, yes I am!!
Hope everyone has a great day!

Good luck with your miles, April, and your 5K planning meeting. Are you going to be an RD for a race?
My friend is. I'm just on the committee.
Run to live; live to run

Happy Birthday LJ! Welcome to the cool people age group!
5 miles at a 9:00mm today. Had a couple sprinkles by the end of my run and when I left for work it was raining. It was nice to miss that. Have a great day everyone!

Sarah, hope you are doing well and healing well! I am going to pick an upcoming fun-run-race of mine and dedicate it to you while you are on the bench! I have to decide which one, gotta have one that 'suits' you. I'll let you know.
Scotty - You are so sweet!! Whatever race you decide, I'm sure I'll love it!! Thanks!!
But The Smile That I Sent Out Returned With You.
Happy birthday lilac. If anybody tells you 30 is the new 20 ... they're lying

Morning! I have been busy walking lately, as usual. Yesterday I wanted something different, so I hauled my butt up one of my favorite trails. The first 2 miles average an 8% grade, so enough to get my heart going a little bit. Of course, everyone else who was out was a runner.
Today I am starting cookie baking for the local ultra that's this weekend. They will be doing the trail I did and many, many others. Today I am making oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. Tomorrow it will be peanut butter cookies with hershey's kisses on top. Both of those seemed like they would taste good at an aid station.
Feel better!

As part of the 2024 London Marathon, I am fundraising for VICTA, a charity that helps blind and visually impaired children. My mentor while in law school, Jim K (a blind attorney), has been a huge inspiration and an example of courage and perseverance. Please consider donating.

Last night I did 10.4 miles with 5x(3:00 at 5K effort, 2:00 easy), finishing in time for a beautiful sunset. Hoping to get in a MLR of some sort today around a bunch of errands and having to do stuff at work on my day off. Arg.
Hoping to catch up on all the RR's and stuff later tonight.
You're so persuasive. I signed up too.
(Actually it was just an email: "The BAA 10K opens registration today - it's 8am race time in Boston but I figure I'd let you know it was today just in case." me: "ok")
Are you talking to yourself now?
Happy birthday, Lilac!
20,000 miles behind me, the world still to see.
Good morning!
I got in 11 miles yesterday on the treadmill at 10:30 pace before my Mom got into town. Today, my Mom, DH and I are heading out to play a round of golf and plant some corn and beans in the garden.
Happy Birthday Lilac!
Life is good.
