WednesDAILIES be like... (Read 41 times)

LRB

...you can use the density to get  it with grams/mL.   So since there's 450 grams in a pound, that means you need to drink about half a liter/pound - or for 5 pounds, ~2.2L.  (Assuming of course that I've done the math right and that your body can absorb that amount over the course of a run without it sloshing around in your belly. lol)

Yeah, I never took it that far lol, I just wanted to know how much weight I lost (in fluids) over the course of runs of varying lengths.  Those things are more for the elite level runners, not mid and back of the pack hacks like us.

The scientist in me needed to know. It bothered me that weight does not equal fluids.  :P

          Excellent!  This is good news!

I just got back from 12.5 at 9:05 pace.  I was tired from the get-go, so that run was slower than I hoped.  Heat and humidity didn't help.  I'm glad that run is behind me.  My next LR will be my goal HM in 16 days.

You were trending towards it, but nothing can be taken for granted where running and injury is concerned.

Rick, amazing splits on the six.

Shari, I hope that you had a pleasant run and a safe trip. Good luck!

Dave, chill, my dear. Here. Have my Guinness.

                  Phil, terrific 12.5.

Hi, TaperilRunner! How was the six-miler?

                  B-Plus, excellent 8.2.

Nicole, I'm glad that you feel better and that your run went well.

                  Marjorie, beautiful 12.5.

Oski, I'm glad that PT continues to go well. Congrats on the 3.6.

SIAR, bravo on the 13.99. Talk about character buildingSmile

                  Yay, jjs22!

                  lilac_jive, sweet six.

meghansketch, brava on making the best of that run.

Yesterday, after work, I did weights, push-ups, ab work, and an hour on the ArcTrainer.

Tonight, I ran 3.50 miles in 33:22.67 with the run club. 9:33 pace. My tailbone is being a pain in the @$$, so I kept it easy.

I'm on my way home to do push-ups and ab work.

I didn't get my 6 miles in this morning, but I got it  in this afternoon in 91 degrees and sunny. Not awful, had my hydration pack with me though it was a bit annoying, I mainly used the ice cold water to poor all over myself.

10.4 yesterday on a gloomid and oppressive evening, before the downpours hit so hard that the cat started fussing and crying (wuss!)

10.4 more tonight, out easy, back moderate.  Still sticky icky but not as bad.
