"These sneakers are, according to Reebok, the "the first all-terrain athletic shoe". They're supposed to echo the utility of an all-terrain vehicle, and take mud, snow, grass, and sand in their stride."

Well, a lot of morons put those idiotic Sketchers Shape-Ups on their feet. No one ever went broke underestimating the stupidity of the American public.
Short term goal: 2:59:59 (November, 2013)
Mid term goal: Any race over 80% of top AG standard
Long term goal: To say I've been a runner half my life. (I started running at age 45).
@runjerseygirl
Those are the ugliest effing shoes I've ever seen.
Do you even run?
That's what pisses me off. I'm too quick to think "that's stupid" when my first thought should be "I bet there are plenty of suckers that would buy this".
Also I no longer wonder why my LRS carries zero Reebok shoes.
Eye of Sauron
Yeah, that's what I opened this thread to post. Reebok has been around FOREVER (ok, it seems like it). But when it comes to running shoes, they never seem to get it right. This is goofy even for them, but if you showed me these shoes without a label and asked me to guess who made them, Rebook would have been on my list of 3 guesses.
And once again Mr. Wizard (aka: Stevie Ray) explains the internet.
Soles do kind of look like octopus tentacles.

"You see an agent, you do what we do. Run. You run your ass off!"
Cypher to Neo - The Matrix
Clearly the person who designed those has never actually run on a trail through snow, mud, sand, or grass.
Huh, I have a blog?
