This race has been on my radar but since it falls during my 3 week vacation from work I held off registering because I was trying to plan a few trips. Well trips are booked and that date is still free so I'm gonna run the race. I know some fourmites said they were running it but I forget who... FE???

    PRs:   5K- 28:16 (5/5/13)      10K- 1:00:13 (10/27/13)    4M- 41:43 (9/7/13)   15K- 1:34:25  (8/17/13)    10M- 1:56:30 (4/6/14)     HM- 2:20:16 (4/13/14)     Full- 5:55:33 (11/1/15)

I started a blog about running :) Check it out if you care to

Darn it!  I tentatively put this race on my calendar (my November HM is along the same towpath), but a couple of weeks ago decided not to run it this year.  It doesn't fit well with where I am in my training plan -- 15K is a little too long to be my tempo run, but too short (and I'd run too fast) to count as my long aerobic run.  Since I know I had/have two weeks of vacation to work around in my training plan, I opted to stick with the plan for the 5-week stretch between vacations.

Now I hear that I'll be missing the opportunity for FE's.  Sad

Boo to Phillie also.  I replied to Kristen, and Phillie, if you want to run it as a training run do it.  I think that is how I will and thus we could all have fun. Weather looks to be good and its a nice small race.  Give it some consideration.

I was going to run it as a training run... however, I am going to race it I think.... my plan doesn't call for it but I think it will help me with my confidence and pacing for my half. Anyway... I know lilacjive is doing it too....would be a fun FE if you both do it too!
