As part of the 2024 London Marathon, I am fundraising for VICTA, a charity that helps blind and visually impaired children. My mentor while in law school, Jim K (a blind attorney), has been a huge inspiration and an example of courage and perseverance. Please consider donating.

Nice job Jay!
And Beth Oktoberfest is not a bad time to go. All the Oktoberfest craziness is well confined to the fairgrounds. The city is not much more crazy because of it. You may actually find other things LESS crowded as a result. When my dad and I went in 2009, we did 2 evenings at the fairgrounds and one day completely away from the festival (and mornings and afternoons doing other things). Places that would likely be more crowded (such as some of the beautiful and famous churches, the large Englisch Gardens park, monuments and squares, museums) were not bad at all. Subways were not overcrowded. And we were there for the final weekend which included German Reunification Day and the last Friday of the Festival, and it still wasn't bad. You'd be surprised how well Munich deals with the large influx of people. But.....I DO reccomend checking out Oktoberfest as Oktoberfest was by far the best thing I've ever done (but, since I met my boyfriend there maybe I'm biased).

Haha, did I say something about interval pace earlier? Never even came close. 25:35 and the best that I can say is that I ran even splits and took 2nd in my AG and 10th OA.
Congrats!
And congrats OOTB! I need to read the whole thread before responding lol
