Are we there, yet?
After I recorded my mileage today, 45 years, 8 months, and 8 days after I began running as an adult, my total mileage logged was 75,000.2 miles.

Very cool! I am so impressed you have kept logs through all of that time. Congratulations, George, and thank you for being an inspiration and voice of wisdom on these boards.
By the way, I wouldn't classify 75,000 miles as "small."
20,000 miles behind me, the world still to see.
Will run for scenery.
Uh-oh! That 0.2 is gonna drive Marjorie Ann flippin' batty
Congrats.
Stupid feet!
Stupid elbow!
It's 2515.03 miles between Philadelphia and San Francisco. So you have run about 30 times back and forth, from ocean to ocean. That is quite impressive, George. Congratulations!
You were the first male runner I looked up to when I took up running, almost 6 years ago, and you taught me a lot. You still stand high, up there on my ladder of great runners, and I expect I will be learning even more from your future experiences. I wish you many more happy miles!

I don't know which is more impressive; 75,000 miles or 45 years of record keeping. That is a lot of shoes! Good stuff, wc. ✌️

Holy smoke! Running for 45 years, 8 months, and 8 days is quite a milestone and something to be proud of! The 75000.2 miles is also impressive!
I'm so vegetarian I don't even eat animal crackers!
I appreciate the relevancy of some of your examples, they transcend eras.
