Hip Redux
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. So trekking across that crap doesn't effect your new hip I take it?

Not at all, actually. Woot! I get some hip flexor crankiness, but really nothing major.
Slowly but Shirley.
Another photo from today:
Don't call me Shirley!
Don't pronounce it like that!
You need a selfie stick.
It was absolutely gorgeous out today. 55 and sunny, with little fluffy clouds. I took the dogs on a 4 mile walk, then came home and ran 10 on the TM.
You need to teach those dogs to run on the treadmill, so you can run outside.
Everyone on the east coast just died a little inside. lol

I say you pull a Keith Moon & completely smash up your drum kit at the end.
That would take too much energy. I have to drag myself up in the morning for a run. Someday.
Hilarious!
Marathon training doesn't start for another 5 months or so. Marathon is at the end of September. I will race a 5k May 2nd, so maybe that counts A gig in front of 500 people!!! Wow! How cool is that! 18 tomorrow... when is your next marathon again? Don't drink too much tonight. We all know drummers... MTA: Thanks Lily and Zel

May 3. Avenue of the Giants. No worries about drinking too much; I don't drink when I play.

Ankle feeling better now, but it is Valentines Day so I will not do a night run. Excesses, excesses.
Personal Bests:
800M - 2:38 (5/28/13) | 1 Mile -5:54 (5/28/13) | 3K - 11:55 (12/29/12) | 2M - 13:00 (12/1/12) | 5K - 20:00 (4/12/13) | 13.1M - 1:37:24 (2/3/13)
Good plan.
There was a Hendrix exposition when I visited the Experience Music Project in Seattle. They had a whole bunch of his smashed up guitars exposed. I was thinking that you've got to be making good money to destroy guitars like that at the end of every show. And drum kits are even more expensive. Hard drugs maybe?
