    In their defense, Belgians do make what many consider the world's best beers.  That's gotta count for something.

    Short term goal: 17:59 5K

    Mid term goal:  2:54:59 marathon

    Long term goal: To say I've been a runner half my life.  (I started running at age 45).

              Car and motorcycle racing used to be banned in Belgium.  It's a testament to the human spirit that it created a generation of incredibly talented racers that dominated during what is now considered to be a golden age of Belgian world champions.
