1) < 1:19 HM to get into the NYCM.
2) < 2:50 marathon (*not* at Boston, but in Fall. Training for that in the winter would be horrid.)
3) < 16:45 5K
4) < 4:45 mile
I have been waiting to do my 2014
list until this week. Here are my tentative ones:
3-4 marathons before surgery
Surgery in February or March
Restart running by April
Either a July marathon or a Fall huge PR once the pain goes away.
Since I will be down from 4-6 weeks, goal is 2000 miles.

As part of the 2024 London Marathon, I am fundraising for VICTA, a charity that helps blind and visually impaired children. My mentor while in law school, Jim K (a blind attorney), has been a huge inspiration and an example of courage and perseverance. Please consider donating.

The Ann Arbor Track Club holds an open mile race in the winter at U of M's indoor track, and another multi-distance event at U of M's outdoor track usually in June.
Both are on my to do list. I will pass the word when I hear anything.

5. Walk with my hubby several nights a week. He wants to lose weight and told me he will do a half marathon in 2 years...walking it.
I'm so amazed that these goals are possible for me. Not making them will be mental rather than physical, so writing them down is important to me. I also have them on a sticky on my desk so I'll see them every day.
