RWOL Marathoners is a fine place to check, but it is tumbleweed city. I was one of the main posters there; still check once a day.

FWIW, you could pop into the main area here. Lots of RAers live in the NE.

I would be surprised if the one second is a deal breaker. The big kids might point at you and laugh though.

UPDATE.

Got an e-mail back from the race director and she told me she'd make sure I got in for start seeding. They stick to their guidelines but offer a little slack if there is still room.

Edit: That said, I'll be lucky if I can break two hours or even cover the distance by the end of the year given I need knee surgery.
