Here is a picture. The strap keeps them on your hand.

I definately appreciate it when others on the trail are lit(in multiple ways, mind you!) My youngest son thinks planes could mistake me for the airport. I have on a Petzel Headlamp, Flashing red blinky ass light, Amphipod reflective singlet, and numerous reflective areas on my clothes. I thought about clipping bike lights on each shoe but then I might hypnotize myself by accident watching them!
I am starting to think nobody around these parts cares about nighttime safety, it is rare to see anybody wearing lights or vests. Dog walkers, even less likey.
I think I will be asking Santa for these. I am sick and tired of running at the one park by work that is lit when there are all these perfectly good sidewalks around. I am just chicken to run in the dark. I am hoping they will help me with my fear.
I loooove mine too! They cast such a wide beam: I see lots of other runners w/headlamps and other lights and my knuckle lights illuminate better then most that I've seen. They eat batteries, though. I got through a set every week.
Not a dude
Can you use rechargeable batteries in them?
^ yes
duh-ohh
I've gotta get some now! Stupid me!
I had been thinking about it for awhile, but this thread inspired me to actually order them. $39.99 with free shipping. Boo yah!

Justify it to your husband that the 'old' ones that you had didn't use rechargeable batteries, but these NEW ones that you are buying do.
Mmmmm...beer
Thanks for the picture DJJan! I think you just convinced me to buy a set. I was holding off, because I've really come to like running with my hands empty (it was driving me crazy holding my handheld on my long run this last weekend, need a fuel belt now), and I thought you had to actually grip the lights. But now that I see you just strap them to your hands and you can keep your hands loose, I'm gonna get 'em.

They're expensive, but well worth the cost.
Flippy: where? I take it that is a good price, so I want to snag some for myself
I think she's talking about the Knuckle Lights themselves. For rechargeable batteries, you can get them just about anywhere you can buy electronics.
Funny this thread popped up today. I went home for lunch and guess what was sitting on my porch waiting for me.. hehe....KL2.0 in black. w00t!

OMG. I am so flipping confused today. It's been a hectic day, that's my excuse. Thanks, Code, for popping in...
Heidi, you can buy rechargeable batteries at Target or whatever. They'll seem a bit pricey, but are well worth it compared to replacing batteries every week! Anyway...yeah, I was talking about the lights. $39.99 is way cheaper than going to the ER when I fall and bust my head open or get hit by a car! I was excited about the free shipping. I *heart* free shipping...even though it's not actually free and is factored in to the cost of the item. Oh well.
