Is this guy inspirational or what? He finished in 16 hours and 46 minutes, I myself have to say well done and way to go. There is no way I could or would do it, at least I don't think there is.

Short term goal: 17:59 5K
Mid term goal: 2:54:59 marathon
Long term goal: To say I've been a runner half my life. (I started running at age 45).
I guess he had someone or a couple of people staying with him? I mean the streets are only closed to traffic for a few hours before they are opened up again, to know that you are going to finish long after everyone else and still do it, that takes some balls.
Very impressive. I have been a Boston volunteer a bunch of times so get there early, and am always impressed by what runners with handicaps can do.
That's among the most inspiring things I have ever seen.
(I feel like a slug after watching that. All my excuses seem so trivial)

I remember standing at the starting line in Hopkinton and the runner next to me had a cast on their foot. There are no excuses.

Some people don't have it easy, that's for sure. He reminds us all of what we have and why we must take advantage of it and be grateful for it. What he did was very brave!
