I find that the hunger isn't as much about mileage as it is about increasing mileage. If I am holding steady, I don't feel as hungry as when I am building. I also feel like adding distance to my long run makes me feel hungrier, but running a long distance that I'm in the habit of doing doesn't have that same effect.
I am so much hungrier since I started running. I also need to lose 5 pounds. Really I need to lose about 10 pounds but I have put on 5 pounds since Fall. It's hard. I'm ALWAYS STARVING.
