Congrats on a solid race. Now it's time to see what you can do by dropping 20+ pounds and training consistently...

I was thinking more like 40+, the consistency is certainly doable. I have the will and the ability, I just need to be smarter and a new job would be nice. When I work 6-7 weeks of 12+ hour days in the heat of Summer without a day off it becomes physically impossible to train. The stress of that work is also a problem for my eating, so I am implementing some changes to prevent that in the future.

Thanks for all the encouraging words from everyone!

Congrats on your marathon Jerry! You were so close to your goal and made a heck of a PR considering your training obstacles. Nice job.

        Running is my mental-Ctrl-Alt-Del.

Congrats on that pr!  Nice job and I'll bet you smash the 4 next time.

St Jude's is prob the best organized race I've ever done.

You ran a great race - those splits are pretty, especially in the second half!!   Congrats!  With your renewed focus on training and weight loss, you'll totally ROCK your next one!!
