A little too late for me...I've thought he was guilty all along. The real question, is he really sorry, or just sorry he got caught, and is hoping to get a reduction in his sentence so he can get his life back again. Either way, he get's nothing from me, but it will be interesting to see if the big money comes back.

While I don't know the guy personally, from numerous accounts, he is an ass. So I would say that if past actions dictate future behavior and motives, this is all for him and his own agenda & ambitions.

Different drugs, yo. Lance didn't take the growth hormones that Bonds took.
I don't care either way what Lance did but I find the story interesting because I love watching a good train wreck from afar.

There are different types of steroids that yield different results. I had an exotic pet that I had to give injectable steroids to because of low red blood cell count. I joked with the vet that if he sees me next time and I am all bulked up , then I took some too! He said this steroid does not build muscle, it increases red blood cell count and endurance. Then he said that this was the stuff Lance is accused of taking.

He's still the same person he always was. I'm convinced that the only reason he's confessing now is because he has no other alternative, but it's not out of genuine remorse.

I don't know if Lance can be counted as a world class athlete if he needed drugs to get there. To me, a world class athlete is someone who is great because of their natural talents & willingness to work their ass off. And once you're truly the best at something, having a big ego is understandable. It's just that cheating is not really something to be so proud & smug about.
