Damaris Runs with Asthma
beats the heck out of my local trail.
They'll tell you that failure is not an option. That's ridiculous. Failure is always an option. It is the easiest and most readily available option. It's your choice though.
That looks a lot like the Alum Creek Trail in Columbus, OH.
Short term goal: 2:59:59 (November, 2013)
Mid term goal: Any race over 80% of top AG standard
Long term goal: To say I've been a runner half my life. (I started running at age 45).
Haven't ran on it yet, mainly walking. It's like a 20 minute drive from my work, hopefully this Spring and summer when the sun is up longer I can use it for running.
It connects the University of Southern Indiana and Burdette Park, about...3 miles of trail.
I'd love to run there. I can almost smell the air with all of its fragrances... sigh...
PRs: Boston Marathon, 3:27, April 15th 2013
Cornwall Half-Marathon, 1:35, April 27th 2013
Looks like a great trail run. Bet though once the weather warms, it's full of bicyclists, walkers, and strollers. Too scenic for it not to be.

I almost didn't click on this because you used the word concrete. But this is beautiful asphalt!
Says the girl that works for the trade association for asphalt pavement.
Also, concrete is evil. Asphalt good, concrete bad.

Beauteous.
We can let the circumstances of our lives harden us so that we become increasingly resentful and afraid, or we can let them soften us, and make us kinder. We always have the choice.

Fixed it
Eh, even in summer it isn't bad. The college kids are polite, there are soccer fields and baseball fields too. I'll take more today on my walk.
Very pretty!

I used to work for a concrete company, but asphalt is so much better than concrete.
Personal Bests:
3K - 11:55 (12/29/12) | 2M - 13:00 (12/1/12) | 5K - 20:00 (4/12/13) | 13.1M - I did my time (2/3/13)
What a shame they paved it. Very nice though.
