      Return To Racing

Hi Pengs.  5 for us today. Knees are feeling better and got the last couple of miles closer to 10:00.

We will be celebrating National Night Out, at home, watching our last place teams.  Probably a big holiday in Costa Rica, right Zel?

        Behave yourselves

        Team TJ

3.3 miles in the dark this morning.

One of those kind of runs that boosts your spirits, even if it was short.

Running for TJ because he can't.

            Spirit boosting A-OK!

            Spirit crushing not so much...

I need an igloo, it is blanking hot.

I get put in this 'pod' thing - kinda like you see on space shows, lol - and then they turn me  horizontal and then this machine-thingy passes over the full-length of my body, scanning my whole "skeleton."  They do front and back.  The injection they give me is to 'light me up' to help them see the results better.   Fun stuff.

I've had something like that but it was a nuclear stress test.

Every night is national night out in Costa Rica.

Actually, that's not really true.  I just came home through downtown and everything starts to shut down around 7-8 PM.  Of course, the sun sets around 6 every night of the year.
