During a taper, do you adjust your caloric intake if you are not running for a few days and only running short milage when running?
I have thought about this...
1st 'taper' I ate like a king (was in Napa). I put on about 6-7lbs during this period.
2nd 'taper' I cut back some, but was careful to watch carb/protein/fat ratios, and it was not as bad-couple pounds.
Curious to the more experienced views on this...

I cut back. For the record, I don't really "carbo load" at the very end either.
