Race Photos (Read 1194 times)

Can't really contribute, here... race photographers are allergic to me.

Me too.  I usually only get a finish line shot, and often that picture is only one where they clearly just sent me the link to the 10 pictures that were taken at the clock time when I was supposed to finish.

I was not in a single random shot from my last marathon - there were photographers all over the course, and most people were in 3-4 pictures, but I just got a finish line pic as per the norm.

I did get a zoomed in finish line picture at my last HM, and it was even a floater.....and my eyes were closed and my mouth was hanging open strangely.

I really would buy one if they could just get a decent picture of me for once.

    My wildly inconsistent PRs:

    5k: 24:36 (10/20/12)

    10k: 52:01 (4/28/12)

    HM: 1:50:09 (10/27/12)

    Marathon: 4:19:11 (10/2/2011)

There are some cool photos in here.  Some I have seen before, but I don't get tired of seeing them again.  I love seeing the BF gang in action.

A few more I had on my work computer...

5K on Martha's Vineyard last year

Hartford Marathon last month with a huge PR!  (I'm the dude in front)

      December 5K last year

HM in March.  Not the greatest pic but one of my faves...seeing a PR on the clock at the end of a tough, tough course and reacting accordingly.

Before my Warrior Dash last year.  It rained a lil.

hahaha, Luke! Big grin You are much more handsome than that pretty boy!

I agree with the gals who said that male runners are hot. You guys are lucky that I'm married and live like a thousand miles away! Evil

All the pictures are great. Some look just unreal, like special effects. One day, we will be really old and we will look back at those pics and think "That was really me and I could do that. How amazing is that?!"

Here's me at the local turkey trot. Usually I relax my face when I see a camera guy, but this was at the finish and I was booking it.

ARGH! Why can't I get this to work? I'm using tiny pic too...

                OK there we go!

                  Feets don't fail me now

So jelly of the great running photos!!  In my one and only photo from my one and only HM, I am channeling Phoebe from Friends - it's uncany.  I can laugh at myself more than your average bear but this one ain't fit for public consumption.  Maybe next race...

Dude, you look like a freaking model in your marathon pic.  Spastic waving arms/squinting eyes/knock knees cannot compete!  :P

You are much too hard on yourself, we're talking racing pics, a lot of us cringe before we post out own.

Give me a minute, let me see what I can dig up...

Ah yes, a 5k implosion at mile 2.

                              implosion

I exceeded my lactate threshold.  That was the worse pain ever.

YES, it STILL reads less than 3:10...

Being out-kicked by another gravity-impaired runner.  He looks far too happy about it.
