Hip Redux
Continue running.
Not fuck up my other hip. Or the repaired hip. Or any body part, actually.
I feel great, figure I might as well keep going and finish strong for my last month of training for this cycle.
Oct 1-18: Do not get injured. Do not get sick. Do not get a paper cut or hangnail. Oct 19: Kick ass. Oct 20-31: Vegetate.
Git sum!!!!
4. Don't look at the calendar every day......try for every other day
Sheeit, just wait until you are 10 days out. You will be checking weather.com 100 times an hour, a number that will increase exponentially the closer you get to race day morning!
From the Internet.
5K and 10K PR (the 5K should be in the bag after training all summer, the 10K is automatic since it's my first race at that distance!)
Have surgery; recovery from surgery.
Easy enough!
Are we there, yet?
1) Rehab knee
2) Don't injure anything else
3) Build back up to normal mileage by the end of the month
2024 Races:
03/09 - Livingston Oval Ultra 6-Hour, 22.88 miles
05/11 - D3 50K 05/25 - What the Duck 12-Hour
06/17 - 6 Days in the Dome 12-Hour.
Team TJ
80+ miles and a HM finish time that isn't embarrassing.
Running for TJ because he can't.
Refurbished Hip
Continue running. Not fuck up my other hip. Or the repaired hip. Or any body part, actually.
Pretty much this exactly.
And I'll say 80 miles for the month. Onward and upward!
Running is dumb.
