Running a half in all 50 states is a great goal.
Running ANY type of race in all 50 states would be pretty awesome too.
Slow and steady never wins anything.

Ok I'll play. I put one foot in front of the other and got started. That was a pretty cool accomplishment. I spent a long time saying I wouldn't run unless someone was chasing me. And then suddenly, one day, no one was chasing me and I was running anyway! Other goals I've checked off are that I completed a 5K, then PRed a 5K, and completed a 10K.
Still to come, in 2013, goals are....
To complete:
4 mile race
5 mile race
10 mile race
Half Marathon
And PR:
5K
10K
Annnnnd maybe even sub 30 5K (current 33:33) and sub 60 10K (current 107:47)
Life goals:
Train for and complete a full marathon
Run the NYC Marathon (could be in addition to or as part of the first goal)
I like that half in every state goal, and that would be awesome, but more realistic for me I'm going with.... Run a race in at least 10 different states, at least one that requires a plane flight, and run a race in at least one different country
PRs: 5K- 28:16 (5/5/13) 10K- 1:00:13 (10/27/13) 4M- 41:43 (9/7/13) 15K- 1:34:25 (8/17/13) 10M- 1:56:30 (4/6/14) HM- 2:20:16 (4/13/14) Full- 5:55:33 (11/1/15)
I started a blog about running :) Check it out if you care to
