I was going to register for Bayshore today, but my right knee started bothering me 6 miles into my 10 miler. I started wearing a new pair of NB 769s, which are a notch more stable than my 902s, but I had to wear Superfeet in those to have enough stability--and it still wasn't enough. I guess the 769s aren't enough to control overpronation...I'm hoping things are hunky-dory with the Superfeet in those. I can't go for a more stable shoe, since that means a stiffer forefoot which = peroneal tendonitis (solving one problem seems to create another for me). Gah, I hate my right foot/leg. I have a feeling that I will be looking at prescription orthotics in the near future. Either that or giving up on marathons. It seems just thinking about them sets my knee off. Roll eyes

(((Joni))) Doesn't it feel like there is no perfect shoe for us? #1 I have to eliminate any option that doesn't come in wide width. That cuts down my choices severely, as I know you understand well. Sucks.
