I've done my first 5K race, yeepeee! The course was a lot hillier than I expected, but it was a nice day, so I ran most of it except for about 20meters on to get to the top of the longest hill. I was afraid of walking because I thought I might not be able to pick it up again, but it just gave me a little breather to keep going...I ran near a girl for most of the race and we kept passing each other and having a little chat, which was nice. There were a few elderly people and lots of children running and walking. My kids and their dad were at the finish line but they were too busy eating breakfast to take a photo, geeezz, talk about priorities...they did take a photo but it is pretty hideous... Anyway, I hope you all had a great weekend
