Hi everybody! So, I woke up on my 48th birthday and weighed 280 lbs. That's after having a heart attack just before my 46th birthday. I knew I had to make a change, so I started looking around for resources. It took about 2 months, but I started changing my diet and exercising on May 6th and started the C25K treadmill program shortly after that. I finished the treadmill program 2 weeks ago, took a week off, and started again on week 3 - running outside this time. I'm really enjoying running, and I'm really surprised by that. I've lost 38 lbs so far and have been shocked by the improvements I've seen in my health - my cardiologist is ecstatic. Looking forward to continued improvement.
Congrats on completing the treadmill program! I'll bet you'll love running outside too. Kudos on the weight loss as well.
