Stopping in to say hi! I've been an on-again, off-again runner for a couple of years...mostly off-again Wink but I'm determined to "get there" this time. I have registered and have a number coming for the Peachtree Road Race (10K) on July 4 in Atlanta...so I kinda have to "just do it" now. I've been using the C25k program and go backwards and forwards on the program as I feel I need. I was having some awful heel problems and shin pain for a while but I got new shoes today (was using older Saucony's that didn't have many miles but were about 7y old.) Tonight was my first run in my new asics gel 1130's and they did great! No heel or shin pain...some cramping in the back of my calves but that was probably due more to the birthday crap food I ate this weekend (my son's 6th bday.) Glad to be here! ~ Tracey
Welcome! New shoes really do make a big difference! Glad yours are helping ya out.
      Yelie
