Woods Lady: I'll be running the 5K at the Gold Rush Run in Gold Hill, Oregon on June 6, 2009
Today, I graduated to week 5 C25K . Looking forward to day 3 is frightening, but will do lots of repeats.
Hi Iron, and thank you! I love your skunk story - that would be enough to light a fire under of any of us!
Your trail run on Sat. sounds like a lot of fun. I do most of my runnning in the woods - our trail, and a Forest Service Road next to us. One day right in front of me was an elk rack. It was pretty heavy, but I hauled the thing home. My DH didn't want it on the mantel, but it seemed like a neat momento to me.
I have a run on Sat. also. It is a 5K in Gold Hill, OR. Very small town, and small race. There is a 10K too and my DD3, who is doing the Half Marathon, wants me to walk it to get use to the length. It is tempting, but-------. My DD 1 , who is also doing C25K on week 5 will be with us.
